Arizona Regains Dubious Title
An outfit called CovidActNow.org is listing Arizona as the worst place in the country for COVID-19 with 111.7 cases per 100,000 people. Another site, 91-divoc.com, which supposedly reprocesses data from Johns Hopkins, says we're the worst in the world.
I have no specific reason to doubt these claims. On the other hand I take them with a grain of salt, given that the first site doesn't say where they are getting their data, and the second is described as a "side project" of some person of unknown expertise.
That said, there's little doubt that things are plenty bad in the Grand Canyon State, and our leadership is not doing anything to help. If these reports are true, we've regained our title from this summer. I'm so proud!
